Description
Basic campsites, 45km from Swakopmund in the most beautiful landscape (private property). You are looking for a peaceful place to camp - Moonvalley River Camp is where you need to go! Lovely quiet little campsite with everything you need, clean bathrooms and hot water. A real oasis to recharge your "batteries".
Moonvalley River Camp is way off the beaten track in the middle of the Moon Valley and at the Swakop River. It is located on a 20 Ha farm that has been in the family for 70 years. It is a working farm that specialises in asparagus. They have 4 private campsites. The surrounding areas are a photographers dream, and it is the only location where you can camp in the Moon Valley. Walks through the mountains are invigorating, and they have a few valleys where the Welwitschia mirabilis grow. This is a must for any nature and desert lover. (Brendan D)
