Betta Camp & Self-Catering Chalets camping site each offer a braai and shaded seating area, washing-up facilities and a top deck sundowner spot. Exquisite ablution facilities and hot water showers made with a traditional 'donkey' fire. Power points available.
"We camped in the back yard which had a small outdoor pool, BBQ area and some shade. Very smart & safe site with easy access into the bar & restaurant. Made welcome by the locals in the bar who were watching the large TV. Not touristy and very remote but worth staying here."
The natural stone accommodation units at Betta Camp comprise of chalets fully equipped for self-catering. Each room has its own en-suite shower, toilet with either twin or double bed configuration. Four of the chalets cater for family or friends traveling together. Each chalet has a shaded patio with barbecue facilities and seating area from where you can enjoy the exquisite sunset over the Namib.
Enjoy a light lunch under the shaded seating area while your vehicle is refueled. The well-stocked Kiosk & Coffee Shop bake fresh farm style bread and cake daily. Pies, cookies, bottled preserves, fresh meat, hot & cold beverages can also be purchased at the shop.
Breakfast and dinner can be provided by prior arrangement. Betta Camp is renowned for wholesome cooking and the best T-Bone steak in the south.
Visit our charming Coffee-shop for fresh apple pie or chocolate cake. We provide take-away meals, braai-packs, fresh bread, cold drinks, home-made cookies and jams and even ice creams, sweets, arts and crafts, toiletries and groceries are available.

Directions to site:
From Maltahohe, drive 36km on the C14 road towards Helmeringhausen. Turn into D824 road for 11 km, turn into D831 road for 16 km, turn into D826 for 37 km to reach Betta. Duwisib Castle is on the way to Betta.
From Aus, follow the C13 gravel road for 105 km, turn off into the C27 road before reaching Helmeringhausen, drive 100 km to Betta Camp.
