Description
The Slanghoek Mountain Resort camping area is equipped with 220v power points. Rates include electricity. Maximum 2 vehicles per site provided there is adequate space left on the site. Please make sure that your caravan, vehicle, etc are parked inside the borders of your site. Only one caravan per site. Extra tents allowed. Do not use canvas which will damage grass. (Must have holes) Maximum 6 persons per site. Note: The campsites are about 500m from the chalets and safari tents.
The Slanghoek Resort Camping Area is situated between the vineyards on the banks of the Slanghoek stream. Hot summer months may dry the stream. The sites all have grass, private ablution facilities with shower, basin and toilet and an electricity point. On site you will find a big lawn, playground and swimming pool.
Nearby are the stables for the horses and a typical farm dam with blue-gill fishing for the family to enjoy. Hot summer months may dry the dam though. Please bring a gazebo or sun umbrella as some of the sites do not have shade yet.

A well-maintained campsite, set among the vineyards of the Slanghoek Valley. Tents are pitched beside a peaceful stream, and surrounded by green grass with plenty of space for children to play. Ideal for a family camping trip.
The chalets, tented camp and lapa are about 600m from the camping area.

Directions to site:
Take Brand str out of Rawsonville which will become Slanghoek road. After crossing the old N1 R101 continue for 10.3km to the resort. From Capetown or Worcester take the R101 old N1 to get to Rawsonville first.
From Cape Town take the N1 to Paarl, through Du Toitskloof, turn right to Rawsonville on the R101. On the R101, drive until you reach the first road crossing. Turn left here (look for the Slanghoek road sign). Drive for about 10km, past Goudini Spa, past Slanghoek Wine Cellar, past Opstal Estate until you reach the Slanghoek Mountain Resort sign on your right.
