Altyd Water Campsite, Camping Site near Rawsonville

"Altyd Water" Camping Site is in the middle of the beautiful Breede River Valley. Next to the Smalblaar River,right beside the vineyards.It has a peaceful atmosphere and it's a lovely place if you want to get away from everything.
The campsite is next to the river with the mountain across from it. The campsite is ideal for groups. We also offer catering for groups.
The ablutions are in one block behind the campsite and get 5 stars.
There are 2 showers and 2 toilets with wash basins, 2 bathrooms with a shower, toilet and wash basin in each. In the center of the building there is a washing up area.
Electrical outlets are scattered across the campsite with no formal stands. You choose where you want to pitch your tent.
Altyd Water Campsite is on the banks of the Smalblaar river, which although not very deep, has crystal clear water and is great for swimming in a few of the deeper pools. There is a central Lapa/Entertainment area with shade cover, benches and basins with taps.
The whole site has several trees for shade a lush and green grass in a very beautiful setting.

Directions to site:

From Cape Town to Worcester. Take the first turn off to Rawsonville. From there 2 km to Du Toitskloof Wine Cellar. Take the gravel road to the right. Drive 2 km across the crossing, two 90 degree turns. Turn right after the horse camp. Drive over farm yard between the tennis courts and store rooms next to fence in the direction of the mountain. Approximately 3 km from the tar road you will find Altydwater campsite.
