Description

On a farm 21 km north of Britstown in the Northen Cape, you will find Kambro Accommodation and Farmstall.

The 6 grassed caravan sites have each its own private braai, electricity, & clean ablution blocks with warm water & wash up facilities. If you would prefer a chalet, you can book into our clean, fully equipped units (all with air con).

A lovely farmstall with a wide range of jams, chutneys, dried fruits, quince sweets, fruit sweets, handmade gifts, homemade ginger beer and lemon syrup, books, rusks, biscuits, spices and much much more is on the premises. The restaurant is open from 07:00 till 17:00 for breakfast, lunch or a tea or coffee brake. We are fully licensed and guests can enjoy a beer or some fine wine.

We are known for our hospitality and want our guests to enjoy the lovely environment and beautiful sunsets on the farm. The Karoo offers clear skies at night which is ideal for star gazing. Once a year a star gazing weekend take place at Kambro.

Facilities described:

Each grassed stand has its own braai area with braai grid and electricity. There is a farm stall on the premises and it is open till 17:00. Food can be ordered for the evening from the farm stall. A farm dam for swimming is available in December/January.
