The Growcery Camp, Camping Site near Vioolsdrift

We offer public and private Vioolsdrift campsites at The Growcery Camp. There are two large open campsites at the Growcery Camp. These camps are suitable for travellers and visitors that don't mind sharing a campsite. There is no Campsite fee and only camping fees that apply to these two sites. The Public Campsites are well positioned and has a standard washing basin and BBQ facility. These camps have trees and grass campsites.
Vioolsdrift Camping at The Growcery Camp offers private campsites with magnificent river and mountain views. These are unobstructed views of the Orange River and Richtersveld Mountains. These private campsites will range in size and location. They all come standard with grass, indigenous trees, and great locations. These Private Vioolsdrift camping sites are very popular, and we do suggest that you book well in advance. Our concept at The Growcery Camp is recycle, re-use and then upcycle. We urge all our visitors to make use of our well-signed waste and organic bins while visiting the camp. Take full advantage of our organic garden produce and fresh herbs.

Camping and caravanning are welcome, and the resort provides a relaxed environment. Children can explore the campground while more adventurous guests can enjoy some of the many activities on offer in the area.

Directions to site:

Take the N7 from Springbok and drive north towards the Namibian Border.
Take the only turn off left, 30 meters in front of the South African border post.
Drive 50 meters and at the T- junction, Turn right and drive past the Police station on your left.
The road becomes gravel after 800 meters, continue on this gravel road for 22km.
Follow the signs of The Growcery and Umkulu for 22km till you reach The Growcery Camp.
