Khomeesdrif Camping Site is a tree shaded, grassed caravan and camping site on the banks of the Riviersonderend river, at the foothills of the Sonderend Mountains. There are 50 sites, mostly shaded. The two spotless ablution blocks sport solar powered hot showers backed up by gas, flush toilets and are wheelchair friendly.
Khomeesdrif Camping Site is is situated 7km from the town of Riviersonderend in the Overberg, and is easily accessible by road.

Dogs and horses welcome by prior arrangement.
Khomeesdrif derives its name from a nearby crossing or 'drift' in the Riviersonderend River. The last persons to cross the river here by horse carriage, were Oom Fanie de Kock and his daughter, Miemie in 1904. The very next day, the then new wooden bridge was opened, later followed by the current day Bokrivier concrete bridge.
