Description

At the foothills of the Noord Bokkeveld mountain range, you can recharge your batteries in the peace and tranquillity of Kuboesberg Game Farm.

Experience camping in a remote and secluded area of the farm. Boesmanskloof Camp has wooden huts with beds but no bedding or electricity, there is flush toilet, hot shower and braai area.
Kudu Camp is more for tents and 4 x 4 enthusiasts with roof top tents.

We have two camping sites, one purely for tents, the other has wooden huts with beds and mattresses, just bring your own bedding. Both sites have hot water via donkeys and flush toilets and braai facilities. Contact the farm for more information.

Hike along the many game trails or cycle around the farm and view the game and the stunning scenery not to mention the Quiver Tree forest and the Namaqualand flowers in winter.

Adventure Bikers looking for a base to explore the many gravel roads in the area are welcome. Call Rosemare to discuss accommodation and meals.

for those 4x4 enthusiasts, there is a 14km route up to hoedkop where you can view the farm and then continue along the top of the mountain and attempt a challenging descent down the other side. This route has not been officially graded.

you can also take your picnic basket up to Lovers Rock Which is on the edge of the Grasberg plateau and view the farm as far as the Knersvlakte of Namaqualand.

At night when the braai fire has died down to a glow, soak in the silence and on a clear night enjoy the beautiful array of stars.
Sport enthusiasts, need not fear, the lodge has large screen tv where you can watch and support your favorite team.

Types of accommodation:

We have two camping sites, one purely for tents, the other has wooden huts with beds and mattresses, just bring your own bedding.
4 Self-catering, cottages, Akkedis and Tarentaal sleep 4 people and 2 single Hunters rooms that sleep 2 people. We have no eskom electricity and rely on solar power and gas. Akkedis & Tarentaal cottages are well equipped with bathroom, bedding and an open plan kitchen and living area with an inside and outside braai.

The Hunters rooms comprise of two 2-bed rooms Springbok and Blesbok with separate ablution facilities.
